This nylon jacket from LLBean was sold out immediately when it was first available. It is unlined and urethane coated, so although it is not as water repellent as Gore-Tex, it is a perfect outerwear for city wear. Many of them are from the 90s and have deteriorated and become sticky, but this one shows no signs of deterioration and looks like it can be worn for a long time to come.

The width of the body and shoulders are generous so that you can wear it like rain gear. It is short in length and the hem can be tightened to create a rounded silhouette. It can be folded compactly, so you can put it in your bag and use it on sudden rainy days.

Comment

It's just a normal Bean jacket, but it looks really nice when you wear it. It's something you won't find anywhere else. Personally, I like to wear it with the hood out and the drawstrings tightly pulled together to give it a rounded look.
