This tweed jacket is from Polo University Club (PUC), a college wear line by Ralph Lauren that was made in the 1980s and early 1990s. It is made in the USA using British tweed fabric. As with Brooks, there are many lines targeted at students in this era. You can find a lot of PUC jackets and pants second-hand, but most of them are navy blazers, and I get the impression that tweed-style items like this aren't available very often. There were various custom orders depending on the store at the time, so it makes sense that navy blazers, which are the easiest to sell, are the most popular. This tweed jacket has a very stylish color, so you can throw it on over a sweatshirt and pair it with your usual denim pants. In the 1980s, when Ivy League fashion was at its peak, tweed was herringbone, but making a jacket out of glen check is twisted and cool. Just like coveralls and denim jackets, it looks good even if you wear it carelessly, so it's a piece that I highly recommend to lazy guys.
